  • Efficient management and use of Equipment Libraries
  • Reporting Options and Customized Output Forms
  • Import/Export Capabilities
  • Practical Tips and Advices

Prerequisites:

  • Basic computer skills
  • A working knowledge of:
    • Load Flow calculations
    • IEC 60909 or IEC 61363 Fault Analysis
    • Time Current Curves and Coordination Studies

Course Description:

After this practical introduction training course, you will be able to use the SKM Power Tools for Windows (PTW) software efficiently. The first day the trainer will give a presentation about SKM Power Tools and then he will demonstrate the software. The next day you will try PTW by yourself, with the support of the trainer. You can either do exercises handed out during the course, or implement a part of your own power system in SKM Power Tools.  This course is conducted by SKM's long time distributor - SVRI Electrical Engineering.

Licenses You should bring your laptop computer with the SKM Power Tools software installed and running. Use your own license (USB key) in preference, but on your request we will provide the limited 30-day Demonstration Version of the software in advance. This version has a software key and may also be installed on your private laptop.
