How do I fix a PTW software crash when I attempt to export a Crystal Report file?

Error Message: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client"

Reason: This message appears when you try to export a Crystal Report. Crystal Report will check your mail client; and if there is a problem, PTW will crash.

Solution: Complete the following in order to successfully export a Crystal Report:

Step 1 – In the Control Panels, select Internet Options.

Step 2 – Select the Programs tab. In the E-mail pull down menu, select Microsoft Outlook. Click OK.

Upon successful completion, execute the software. Exporting Crystal Reports should now operate.
