Question: I’m trying to download the latest version of PTW from our website and I get the error Authorization Required error message and it doesn’t accept my Password.
Answer: Get software’s serial number and check our customer database to verify the following.
-Software is in maintenance
-User Name is correct, first 5 characters ONLY and entered as it appears in the customer database. For example, for a serial number of 1108 and a zip code 90266-1234, the User Name would be entered as 1108_90266 Or for zip code of T6G 2H1, the User Name would be 1108_T6G 2
-Password is correct, verify the e-mail address with the one entered in our Customer Database.
Note: If this fails to work, check with Lowell to determine the last time he uploaded User Names and Passwords or look at the Password list file under H:\PTW32_Update_Password
